This is a photo from the NASA book, Mercury - A Chronology. It shows an early Langley boilerplate ready for one of the early tests. The same book notes dates of July 22, 1959 and July 28, 1959. I have also seen a reference to a 3/11/59 test. The image below is via Peter McQuillan, apparently of the same test.
