The base of the solar array is made from about a dozen little bits of photo etch (PE). The problem with all of the solar panels in the NewWare set is that you have to create your own attachment to the Mir or Kvant modules. The PE pieces only use a "T" shaped flat end that you somehow have to mount on the main space station.
